OUR CULTURAL EVENTS

Since the founding of the Association of Hungarian Reciters in England, poetry and prose recitation have become a defining part of Hungarian cultural life in the United Kingdom. This noble form of performing arts has evolved into an essential, value-creating element of cultural events and historical commemorations within the diaspora—building a bridge between generations and strengthening the sustaining power of the Hungarian language, literature, and identity.

We provide opportunities for the talented reciters performing at the József Attila Poetry and Prose Recitation Contest of England to showcase their skills at various Hungarian cultural and community events throughout the year, further enriching the cultural life of the diaspora.
